Andrew Weitz

Chief Health Innovation Officer at Credence

Dr. Andrew Weitz is a Director at Credence and serves as Chief Health Innovation Officer, supporting growth of the company’s health and biomedical portfolio. Andrew has more than 10 years of experience leading biomedical research, data science, and digital health programs across government, academia, and industry. In his prior role as Program Director at the National Institutes of Health, Andrew led digital health strategy for RADx-Tech, a $1.7B program that accelerated the development and commercialization of home-based diagnostic tests. Andrew was also part of the NIH leadership team for SPARC, a $350M program focused on advancing neuromodulation therapies for a range of diseases. Prior to joining NIH, Andrew was a Research Assistant Professor at the University of Southern California, where he investigated novel neuromodulation approaches for treating blindness. He holds a PhD and MS in Biomedical Engineering from USC.
